S. Mary Crowned, Glossop

At the Church Hall, St Mary's Road, Glossop SK13 8DN

Because of  restoration work at St Marys, the church will be closed until the work is completed. In the meantime, Mass will be celebrated  in All Saints Church or St Mary's parish  hall.  See the website www.glossopcatholics.com for all the Mass times.

From 20th December, Holy Mass will be at St Mary's Hall each Sunday at 10.30. Communion will be distributed at the end of Mass;  the congregation will leave the hall immediately afterwards.

Speaces in the hall are limited and are booked quickly. We ask that those parishioners who have attended Mass one week consider waiting until later in the week to book-this would enable other people to come to Mass.   If you are booking for a couple in the same household/bubble, please book 1 individual seat, with the additional information that there are 2 people attending.

Please park away from the front of the hall,  to maintain easy access to the  door and keep the fire exit free. The school carpark will be available on Sundays.

To maintain a good flow of ventilation, doors and windows will remain open throughout the service, so remember to dress warmly.

If you or anyone in your family are unwell or  have symptoms of coronavirus such as a new cough or a raised temperature, please stay home.

Face coverings are mandatory, except for children under 11 years old and those who are exempt because of an underlying medical condition. Please make sure your nose and mouth are covered before entering the hall. There is a basket for offerings as you enter the hall, as there is no plate collection. Please be patient and follow the stewards directions.
